Track Your Order

Quick Answers

Which size should I order?

For the ideal fit on your puppy or dog, take a look at our sizing chart.

Is it possible to modify or cancel an order?

Every harness is made to order, so production begins the moment you check out, and we cannot alter or cancel an order after it is placed. Please review your size, color and personalization choices carefully before paying.

Where can I follow my order?

After your order ships, a confirmation email containing tracking details will land in your inbox. Type your order number or tracking number into the form above to view where your order stands. Didn't get the tracking details? Look through your spam or junk folder first, then reach out to contact@tailoharnesspetsshop.com.

My tracking shows no movement. Why?

It may take 24-72 hours for tracking to refresh once the carrier has picked up your parcel. When nothing has changed after 5 business days, write to contact@tailoharnesspetsshop.com and our team will investigate.

The carrier says my parcel was delivered, yet it never arrived. What now?

Start by searching around your home, asking people in your household or neighbours, and calling your nearest courier depot. Should the parcel still be missing, email contact@tailoharnesspetsshop.com and we will help resolve it.

How do your returns and warranty work?

A refund is available whatever the reason (you changed your mind, picked the wrong size or color, or anything else) provided you ask within 90 days after delivery. Each harness is also backed by a lifetime warranty (Fair Use) for manufacturing defects. The full terms are in our Refund and Warranty Terms.

Fit & Sizing

What is the right way to put the harness on?

Slide it over the head, click once, finished. It takes only 2-3 seconds.

  1. Keep the harness open, logo side up
  2. Pass it over your dog's head
  3. Fasten the belly strap until the ITW buckle clicks shut
  4. Try the two-finger check: place two flat fingers between harness and chest. A snug fit is correct; if looser, your dog could slip out, and if tighter, it will feel uncomfortable
  5. Use the slider on the chest strap to fine-tune (tighten by pulling, loosen with the release button), then repeat the two-finger check

You never have to lift a paw or feed legs through loops, and most dogs hardly notice.

Front D-Ring

How is the Front D-Ring attached?

The Front D-Ring comes as its own add-on and fits in roughly 30 seconds. Find the chest loop at the front of the harness, feed the D-Ring attachment through, and fasten it until it locks. A firm pull confirms it is secure. Set it up once and it stays put, with no tools required.

How do the front ring and back ring differ?

The harness offers two spots to clip a leash. Back ring: suited to easy strolls with a dog that stays calmly at your side. Front ring (D-Ring): made for pullers. As your dog surges ahead, the clip at the front steers that momentum to the side and softly guides them around to face you. Physics does the work, not force.

Is the Front D-Ring necessary?

For a dog that tugs on walks, yes. A dog that already heads out calmly next to you does fine with only the back ring, and the D-Ring can be added at any point.

Product Care

How should I clean the harness?

Wash by hand using gentle soap, rinse well, then let it dry in the air. Keep it out of the washer and dryer so the fabric and padding stay in good shape.

What is the harness made from?

It uses tear-resistant fabric, straps that do not stretch, and soft sponge padding. Buckles are ITW Nexus military-grade hardware, built with the same technology found in rescue gear. Everything is light, breathable and kind to the skin.

Does the harness resist water?

It is water-resistant and copes with rain or a light splash with no trouble, though we suggest air drying it after a thorough soaking.

Is it fine to leave the harness on all day?

It is best worn for walks, training sessions or trips. When your dog is indoors for long stretches, take it off so they can unwind completely. Wearing it for too long may tangle the coat of long-haired breeds.

Is there a grab handle?

Yes, a strong handle sits on the back, giving you added control in busy places, when helping your dog past obstacles, or while training.

Does it work for car rides?

Yes, it is compatible with most standard car seatbelt connectors, which helps your dog stay safe and secure on the road. For more peace of mind, see our Tailo Car Safety Belt, which attaches directly to the harness.

Do I have to use the Tailo bungee leash, or will any leash do?

Your Tailo harness works with any ordinary leash. The Tailo Bungee Leash is an optional extra that cushions sudden tugs, easing the strain on your shoulders and your dog's neck, but you do not need it.
